Account Manager

Our Employee Experience team help clients to build people powered business to believe in, with our work spanning the entire employee lifecycle from employer brand-building to internal communications, change and engagement.

Our account managersare essential to our award winning work. You’ll manage clients, write briefs and deliver creative projects through from ideas to execution.

We’re looking for someone that is proactive, someone that puts their hand up and is passionate about building strong relationships with their clients 


  • Be a trusted advisor to clients Confident communicating with clients and comfortable offering advice and opinions to guide them

  • A great communicator Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, whether it’s writing a brief or emailing clients

  • Taking ownership over projects Hitting deadlines, organising the project team, managing the client and running budgets up to £100k

  • Employer branding know-how From EVP development to recruitment marketing strategies; you will be passionate about people communications

  • Help to grow the accounts Identify new opportunities with existing clients, support new business and activate opportunities with support

  • Be a juggler Work successfully to manage multiple projects and clients at once, proactively finding ways to manage potential issues

  • Problem solver Develop ideas and solutions to meet the client need and be pro-active in following these up with them.

  • Being culturally connected and aware of the world around you. Understanding trends, attending events and exhibitions.
  • Be curious You will actively work to develop in-depth knowledge about the media and communications landscape and MSL’s wider offer.
  • Actively contribute to MSL culture and values. Live our values and take initiative to do.
  • Problem solver Ability to think on your feet, work in an agile manner and adapt to changing requests.
  • Proactive Occasionally you will contribute to thought leadership and business development through activities like blog writing and event presentations. You will contribute to the development of both of your clients and the wider practice by staying up to date with current communications technologies, ideas and trends.
