In February 2016, Gowling and Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co merged to form one of the world’s top new law firms, Gowling WLG. With centuries of joint heritage, both partners were iconic figures in the law world – but how were they going to hold onto that trusted credibility with a new cutting-edge venture?

MSL helped Gowling WLG showcase their new brand to existing and potential customers, highlighting the firm as one of the most forward-thinking in the business.

Working with a collection of the firm’s technological experts and lawyers, we gained coverage in national and trade media, including The Economist and ITProPortal. We also set up briefings and interviews with Computerworld UK and The Daily Telegraph, and secured speaking opportunities at high profile events like CLOUDSEC.

In addition, we worked with Gowling WLG’s experts to produce white papers on autonomous vehicles, discussion points for a panel event on blockchain, articles exploring new data laws for Computing, and more.

To really bring the forward-thinking nature of Gowling WLG to life, we also created the ‘Digital Risk Calculator’ – a web tool that helps people understand the risks that businesses face in an increasingly technology-dependent world.
