THE CHALLENGE
Centrica is continuing its journey to energise a greener, fairer future. For 200 years, it has remained at the heart of the UK energy sector. A key objective of its Annual Report and Accounts (ARA) is to help communicate Centrica’s purpose, to energise a greener, fairer future, and strategy to investors, customers, and other stakeholders.
THE APPROACH
This year, we collaborated with Centrica to produce a more streamlined report, removing repetitive or unnecessary content and focusing on communicating key information clearly and efficiently. Building on a compliance-led approach and the considered use of imagery, the report also reflects Centrica’s distinctive brand through the thoughtful use of graphics and iconography.
THE IMPACT
By adopting a streamlined approach from the outset, we were able to review and refine the structure of the document carefully, reducing the overall pagination without compromising the depth or value of the information presented. The result is a more focused and content-rich report, with clear messaging and a well-considered hierarchy of information.
As a result, the final ARA delivers a more engaging and effective reading experience, presenting essential disclosures in a way that is both comprehensive and visually coherent.
